WHAT DOES NIKOLAS DO?

Building the first off-road bus in the world means to me that we can achieve any goal we have in front of us.
The management team had to be determined to do the best for the company and change everything possible to bring results. It’s not just about work, I am really glad to know my colleagues, as individual persons with skills in different areas.
HOW TO OVERCOME CHALLENGES
The daily job sometimes takes us away from the bigger picture, but this reflection also helped me realize how much we have accomplished. Since the first days of 2023, we were fully focused on ERP system implementation. We understood that with hundreds of rows in the bill of materials in our products, we have to build a stable solution that shows the life of each single component, from the biggest ones like skeletons to the smallest like a simple screw.
WHAT IS CHALLENGING ABOUT YOUR JOB?
No one can tell us what is the best for us; only ourselves can determine that. I believe that the most important factor in why we have the system in such a short time was that all strategic decisions we made were team-based.
Guiding our team across rugged landscapes, we’re pioneering the future of off-road mobility.
WHAT ARE YOU PROUD OF?
We started to cooperate with MAN Starachowice. Here I see how fearless we can be. We walked into a company with 3000 employees producing 12 buses per day and asked to produce our skeletons, and we succeeded. This is the way to move forward, working with the best of the best. The Praetorian skeleton is produced at a completely different level now.
NEW OPPORTUNITIES
We changed the strategy for metal components; we saw that in this changing world, we have to start relying more on ourselves. We are not just developing and mounting; we are also producing components from basic metal sheets. This project was connected to a lot of challenges; we had to find a proper laser cutter and bending machine, but also about the building itself, solving electric connections for these huge machines, and completing the start of new production.
FUTURE VISION
For me personally, it is a great experience. We always have to remember our vision, which is to leave a legacy in the automotive world. Behind these words, I can clearly see what helps us make it real: our Torsus center for research, development, and production. This is where we are going to continue our work, aiming to build a new home for TORSUS.
